My parents began collecting Charles Wysocki's calendars when Shell Oil Company gave them out for free at gas stations. My mother and I would decompage our favorite ones and put them out for the particular season. Buying this calendar every year is a way for me to remember how we always looked forward to getting our calendar, seeing what Mr. Wysocki had created each year, where the American flag was, and what the theme was. His calendars allowed us to remember when times were simpler and people enjoyed life and celebrated all the activities of every month of the year! My family has kept every calendar since Mr. Wysocki created them and he has yet to repeat. It's a good and simple way to keep children occupied by having them "search" for items on each page.Product details

Too bad C. Wysocki has passed on as one could really look forward to each new year. The family re-mixes some of his work and do a good job of trying to make each year special though.
I chose this rating due to the fact that the calendar I received was crushed and bent is 3 of the 4 corners. I have a wooden holder for the Wysocki calendar I use yearly. This year I am unable to display the calendar in my kitcher. I'm not use to having items delivered to me in this condition
I've Collected Charles Wysocki Calendars since the 1960's when he first came out with them. Even though this wonderful artist is no longer with us on earth, his artistry and love for Americana lives on through his paintings.
My house would not be the same without a Charles Wysocki calender hanging near the kitchen. I fell in love with his design more than twenty-five years ago and his calendar has occupied that space ever since. Although he is no longer with us, the artistry and spirit of his paintings fills a very warm spot in our lives.
The calendar is printed in China for the first time and has been printed on cheaper inferior quality paper. I have been buying Wysocki calendars for the last 15 years and I have saved them... so I know what I am talking about when quality is concerned. The lithography is adequate in replicating his paintings but the paper quality is cheap!! You need to start printing in the USA. Those were excellent in quality. This one not worth the $20 I paid. May have to rethink buying your calendars next year and forego Wysocki.
This is just the prettiest calendar. Like personal greeting cards, calendars are very important to me, and picked out carefully. I like the small as well as the larger things in my life to reflect my character and this calendar by this gentleman does just that. I love it, and look forward to displaying each month as it comes.
